These are a few examples of the internal MTD campus bus ads that Common Ground Food Co-op will be running this spring. The message is in a sans serif typeface called Knockout, all caps. The typeface of the "common" in the logo is serif typeface Ziggurat. I enjoy the witty and playful tone of the ads. The message really stands out bold and crisp against the solid green background. The first part of the message - the statement or question - is differentiated from the punchline by color, allowing the reader to easily distinguish the pun and digest the humor. The text in the logo is wrapped around the state, while the message is alined left and the store description lines are alined right with periods after each statement. This ad feels fresh - likely what the designer was aiming for because the Co-op sells food and is particularly known for selling a wide selection of fresh local and organic produce.
